Upcoming scale models from Japan!

The "Mazda RX-7 FD3S AMEMIYA ASPARADRINK JGTC 2004 NO.7" model was replaced by two other RX-7  (SA22C & FC3S) models

 

The latest additions to my model collection will arrive in November from Japan, including the following 1/43 scale models:

• ARTA HSV-010 SGT500 2010 SUZUKA 700km Winter by Ebbro

• Toyota 2000GT Prototype (White) by Ebbro

• Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33) V-Spec 1996 (Red) by Ebbro

• Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32) V-Spec 2 (Crystal White) by Kyosho

• Mazda Savanna RX-7 (SA22C) Limited 1979 (Mach Green) by Kyosho

• Mazda Savanna RX-7 (FC3S) Infini (Shade Green) by Kyosho

Honda HSV-010 takes 2010 Super GT title

The HSV-010 won the 2010 Super GT championship in GT500 class following a second place of the Dome team in the Motegi race. Well done Honda!!!

Honda at 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon

The 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon opens in a couple of days, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and Honda just announced that Honda Access will display a TS-1X test study model based on the CR-Z.

Also on display are accessorized production cars and motorcycles, along with a variety of specially designed vehicles to show the playful nature of customization, such as the Freed Spike caravan car, the Acty Truck and the Enepo generator special coloring editions.

Oh, the HSV-010 GT machine, which won both the driver and team titles for the Super GT Series GT500-class races, will be there as well!

The last scale model is...

The initial order included an Arta HSV-010 SGT500 2010 SUZUKA 700km Winter model, but that was before the end of the 2010 Super GT championship. As you will know though, the Weider HSV-010 won the GT500 title and therefore, I swapped the Arta model for the Weider one. As a model of the winning car, it's special since it comes with the signatures of both drivers!

Honda TS-1X and Sports Modulo NSX at 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon

The TS-1X has some fancy "floating flaps" as you will notice, but a press release hasn't been published yet explaining the actual use of them. In any case, it looks like Batman's CR-Z...

Honda displayed also some new items for the legendary NSX, including a Modulo carbon fibre spoiler, Modulo shocks, springs and even control arms. It's nice to see that Honda still supports old models! Now, what about the NSX successor Honda…?
